As a Doula, I Do Not:
Free Consultation
This is a great opportunity to interview each other and really get to know one another. This enables us to all get on the same page as far as expectations and answer any questions. This can be done in person or by phone.
1-2 Prenatal Visits
We will go over labor positions, birth plan preparation, hospital policies, references, and teach you and your partner how to manage labor, comfort measures,and breathing techniques.

Phone & Email Support
I will be available 24/7, via e-mail, messenger, text message, or cell phone, to answer questions and address concerns. Yes, even at 3 in the morning. :)
During labor
I will be available by text or phone to support you at the first signs of labor, and will join you at the hospital or at your home once you are in active labor (contractions 5 minutes apart). I will stay with you from that point until after the birth.
During labor I will provide non medical physical, emotional, and informational support. I will help the mother get the information she needs and offer her ways to meet her birth plan goals when applicable.
Baby’s first feeding Support
I will remain with you for 1-2 hours after the birth to assist with breastfeeding and making sure you are comfortable.
Perform any clinical tasks
A Doula is not a medical professional, is not licensed by the State of Nevada and does not give medical advice or perform medical tasks such as checking blood pressure, fetal heart rates or other diagnostic tests or perform vaginal exams.
Make decisions for you
I am there to empower your choices and provide you with up to date information and resources so you can make the best possible decisions for you and your baby.
Speak to the staff on your behalf
As a Doula I will not speak to the hospital staff on your behalf I might, however, facilitate the communication between the laboring woman, her partner and her clinical care providers.
Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience
I am there to empower you and your beliefs and choices. I will not be among the people that try to sway your beliefs, but will help you validate yours.
Postpartum follow-up visit
We will go over some baby basics, your labor record, birth story, and assist with breastfeeding support.
Pricing
$900 Flat Fee

The birth doula fee can be split into 2 payments. The first payment (50% of the fee) is due at the time of booking along with the signed contract in order to be booked. The rest of the fee is due no later than 36 weeks.
